2. WEBSITE USE

You may use this website only for lawful, personal, and legitimate business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Misuse the website, forms, scheduling system, payment links, or communication tools.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems.
  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, or unlawful information.
  • Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website.
  • Use WEST COAST HAIR’s names, trademarks, photographs, methods, content, or materials in a way that suggests an unauthorized affiliation or endorsement.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website or refuse service when reasonably necessary to protect our business, clients, intellectual property, safety, or legal rights.

3. APPOINTMENT REQUESTS AND CONFIRMATION

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee that the appointment has been accepted. An appointment is confirmed only after WEST COAST HAIR approves it and, when required, receives the applicable deposit or booking payment.

We may contact you for photographs, service history, hair-condition information, scheduling details, payment, or other information needed to determine whether the requested service is appropriate.

Appointment availability, duration, pricing, and service recommendations may change after consultation based on your hair, desired result, product needs, prior treatments, and the time reasonably required to perform the service.

4. DEPOSITS AND BOOKING PAYMENTS

A deposit or booking payment may be required for certain appointments, services, products, or new clients. We will provide the applicable amount and payment instructions before confirming the appointment.

Unless WEST COAST HAIR states otherwise in writing:

  • Deposits are applied toward the total price of the confirmed service.
  • Deposits are nonrefundable.
  • Deposits reserve time, preparation, and, when applicable, specially selected or ordered hair or products.
  • Deposits are not automatically transferable to another person, appointment, or service.
  • At our discretion, a deposit may be applied to one properly rescheduled appointment when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
  • If WEST COAST HAIR declines or cancels a service before it is performed because of a safety, compatibility, hair-condition, or business concern, the unused service deposit will be returned, except for any separate nonrecoverable special-order product costs that were clearly disclosed and authorized in advance.

5. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING, AND NO-SHOWS

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit or booking payment. Genuine emergencies may be considered individually, but an exception is not guaranteed.

Repeated rescheduling may result in forfeiture of the deposit, refusal of future booking, or a rescheduling fee of up to $50 when disclosed before the new appointment is confirmed.

6. LATE ARRIVALS

Please contact WEST COAST HAIR as soon as possible if you expect to arrive late.

Depending on the length of the delay and the services scheduled, we may:

  • Shorten or modify the appointment.
  • Perform only part of the scheduled service.
  • Reschedule the appointment.
  • Treat the appointment as a late cancellation when the service can no longer reasonably be completed.

Any resulting deposit treatment or additional charge will depend on the circumstances, preparation already completed, products ordered, and time reserved.

7. RIGHT TO REFUSE, MODIFY, OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE

WEST COAST HAIR may refuse, modify, postpone, or discontinue a service when we reasonably believe it is necessary because of:

  • Hair or scalp condition.
  • Product or service incompatibility.
  • Safety or health concerns.
  • Undisclosed prior treatments, products, sensitivities, or relevant conditions.
  • Client conduct, harassment, threats, intoxication, or failure to follow reasonable instructions.
  • Unrealistic expectations or inability to agree on a reasonable service plan.
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

When WEST COAST HAIR elects not to perform a service before work begins, any unused service deposit will generally be returned as described in Section 4.

8. CLIENT DISCLOSURES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Before receiving services, you agree to provide complete and accurate information that may affect the safety, suitability, or outcome of the service, including, when relevant:

  • Previous hair-extension services.
  • Chemical treatments, color, bleach, relaxers, keratin treatments, or other processing.
  • Known allergies, sensitivities, scalp irritation, hair loss, breakage, or medical concerns affecting the hair or scalp.
  • Products or methods used on your hair.
  • Medications or conditions you believe may materially affect your hair, scalp, healing, comfort, or ability to receive the service.

WEST COAST HAIR does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. You should consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional regarding medical, allergy, scalp, or hair-loss concerns.

9. HAIR-EXTENSION SERVICES AND INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Hair-extension work is an individualized and artistic service. Results depend on many factors, including natural hair condition, texture, density, color, previous treatments, home care, lifestyle, maintenance, product use, and compliance with instructions.

Reference photographs and examples are for inspiration and education only. We do not guarantee an exact duplication, color match, density, texture, length, wear time, or appearance.

Hair-extension attachments may initially feel more noticeable and may change in size, feel, or position as they settle and cure. Some clients may experience temporary awareness, tightness, tenderness, itching, redness, or an adjustment period. Any significant, persistent, worsening, or unusual discomfort should be reported promptly.

Although reactions are uncommon, sensitivity or allergic response may occur. A patch test may be requested at least 48 hours before an appointment when appropriate, but a patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.

10. MAINTENANCE, AFTERCARE, AND WEAR TIME

Hair extensions require proper home care and ongoing professional maintenance. You agree to follow the written and verbal instructions provided for washing, conditioning, drying, brushing, heat styling, sleeping, swimming, product use, maintenance, and removal.

Maintenance is generally recommended every five to seven weeks, but the appropriate schedule may vary.

Wear-time estimates are not guarantees. Many factors can shorten or affect wear, including natural shedding, hair growth, product buildup, excessive moisture, heat, swimming, sweating, friction, missed maintenance, incompatible products, improper brushing, matting, tangling, pulling, or self-removal.

Unless expressly included in writing, maintenance, removal, replacement hair, added hair, corrective work, and future appointments are separate services and may involve additional charges.

Do not attempt to force, pull, cut, melt, or break out an attachment. Contact WEST COAST HAIR for instructions or professional evaluation when an attachment is uncomfortable, loose, tangled, or otherwise concerning.

11. CLIENT CONCERNS AND COMPLIMENTARY CHECK APPOINTMENTS

Please contact WEST COAST HAIR immediately when you notice a concern. Prompt communication often allows an issue to be evaluated before it becomes more difficult to address.

For concerns involving a new installation, a complimentary check appointment may be scheduled through the appointment calendar during the first four weeks following installation. A complimentary check appointment is intended for evaluation and reasonable minor adjustment when appropriate. It does not guarantee free replacement hair, a full reinstall, correction of damage caused by outside services or products, or correction of problems caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions.

Corrective work, replacement, or other accommodation is offered only at WEST COAST HAIR’s discretion after evaluating the circumstances.

12. SERVICE PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Accepted payment methods may include cash and approved electronic-payment options. Available methods may vary according to the service, appointment type, and client status. WEST COAST HAIR will provide payment instructions when confirming the appointment.

Because services require reserved time, professional labor, customized preparation, and the use or alteration of products, completed services are nonrefundable.

Once extension hair, attachments, customized products, or other materials have been used, opened, cut, blended, colored, altered, installed, or otherwise prepared for a client, their cost is nonrefundable.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived.

13. RETAIL PRODUCTS

WEST COAST HAIR may sell hair-care products and related retail items for local pickup or shipment when postage is paid.

Unless a different policy is stated at purchase:

  • Unopened and unused retail products may be considered for return within 14 days with proof of purchase.
  • Opened, used, altered, or damaged hair-care products are final sale for health, hygiene, and product-integrity reasons.
  • Extension hair, custom-selected products, and items prepared or ordered for a particular client are final sale.
  • Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
  • Approved return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the wrong item was supplied or the item arrived damaged.
  • Report damaged or incorrect items promptly and retain the product and packaging while the claim is reviewed.

Products purchased through a separate Soft Bond Strands®, TWIST Hair Care, or other linked website are governed by the terms and return policy displayed on that website.

14. GIFT CARDS AND GRATUITIES

Gift cards may be offered subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Gratuities are voluntary and are not included in quoted service prices unless expressly stated.

15. MINORS

Clients under age 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. WEST COAST HAIR may require the parent or guardian to participate in the consultation, sign consent documents, remain present, or approve the service and payment terms.

This website is intended for a general United States audience and is not directed to children under age 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through this website.

16. COMMUNICABLE ILLNESS AND APPOINTMENT SAFETY

Do not attend an appointment when you have symptoms of a contagious illness or know that you may pose a meaningful transmission risk to others. Contact WEST COAST HAIR as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling.

WEST COAST HAIR follows reasonable cleaning and sanitation practices. However, no public or service environment can eliminate every risk of exposure to communicable illness, and close physical proximity is inherent in hair services.

17. EMAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES

By providing your contact information, you authorize WEST COAST HAIR and its service providers to send communications reasonably related to your inquiry, appointment, purchase, account, or requested service, including confirmations, reminders, changes, and customer-service messages.

Marketing emails may be sent when permitted by law. You may unsubscribe through the link provided in the message or by contacting us.

Promotional text messages will be sent only when appropriate consent has been obtained. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to discontinue promotional texts. Transactional or individually requested communications may be handled separately as permitted by law.

18. PHOTOGRAPHS, TESTIMONIALS, AND CLIENT CONTENT

You may voluntarily submit photographs, videos, reviews, testimonials, questions, or other materials for consultation or customer-service purposes.

Submitting a consultation photograph does not, by itself, give WEST COAST HAIR permission to publish it. WEST COAST HAIR will seek separate permission before intentionally using an identifiable client image in public marketing, advertising, social media, education, or promotional content, unless another written release already applies.

When you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, or other content for public use, you confirm that it is truthful, that you have the right to provide it, and that WEST COAST HAIR may display, reproduce, format, or excerpt it for the purposes authorized by you.

19. EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND NO MEDICAL ADVICE

You may voluntarily submit photographs, videos, reviews, testimonials, questions, or other materials for consultation or customer-service purposes.
