A consultation allows Tiffany to determine whether extensions are appropriate and how much hair can be safely supported.

​They may be suitable for many hair textures and histories. Extension hair is selected according to the client’s natural texture, color, density, and styling goals.

Previously processed, fragile, breaking, thinning, or chemically treated hair may require additional evaluation. Clients must disclose relevant services, products, sensitivities, scalp concerns, and hair-loss history before installation.

​No. Both systems may use strand-by-strand placement, but WEST COAST HAIR does not install conventional keratin-fusion or hot-glue extensions.

Soft Bond Strands® uses a different proprietary attachment material and application process created by Tiffany Twist..

​Yes. WEST COAST HAIR may postpone, modify, decline, or discontinue a service when there are concerns involving hair condition, scalp condition, product compatibility, safety, client conduct, unrealistic expectations, or incomplete information.

The goal is not simply to complete an installation. It is to determine whether the requested service is a responsible match for the client and their natural hair.

​A minor may be considered for service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. WEST COAST HAIR may require the parent or guardian to participate in the consultation, approve the service plan, sign consent forms, and remain present.

​WEST COAST HAIR uses professional-quality human extension hair selected for each client. Brand, color, texture, length, and availability may vary according to the desired result and current professional inventory.

The final product selection is based on the client’s natural hair, photographs, consultation, budget, and service plan.

​Available options may include straight, wavy, curly, spiral, textured, or blended selections. Not every color is available in every texture or length.

The goal is to choose a texture that works naturally with the client’s own hair and preferred styling routine.

​Many clients choose extension hair between approximately 14 and 22 inches. Longer or specialty lengths may be available by special order.

The best length depends on the client’s natural hair length, density, intended result, ability to maintain the hair, and product availability. A longer length is not always the most natural-looking or manageable choice..

​Clients should arrive with their natural hair in the color they intend to wear.

WEST COAST HAIR custom selects and blends extension shades and attachment colors to coordinate with the client’s hair. More than one extension shade may be used to create dimension and a natural-looking result.

Color matching is an individualized artistic process. Exact duplication of photographs or an absolutely invisible match cannot be guaranteed.

CAN YOU GUARANTEE MY RESULT WILL LOOK EXACTLY LIKE A PHOTO?

No. Inspiration photographs are helpful for communicating length, density, texture, and overall style, but every client begins with different natural hair.

​Results depend on natural length, density, color, condition, growth pattern, product availability, maintenance, and home care. WEST COAST HAIR will recommend a realistic design based on the client’s starting point.

​Appointment length varies according to the amount of hair, service type, removal needs, customization, and desired result.

The appointment calendar provides estimated time blocks, but the final duration may change after consultation or once the work is underway.

​New attachments may initially feel more noticeable than they will after settling. Clients may experience an adjustment period involving awareness, mild tightness, tenderness, itching, or temporary scalp sensitivity.

The attachments may also change slightly in size, texture, and feel as they cure and settle during the first day or two.

Significant, persistent, worsening, or unusual discomfort should be reported to WEST COAST HAIR promptly.

​Although reactions are uncommon, any hair, skin, scalp, cosmetic, or service product may cause sensitivity in some individuals.

A patch test may be requested at least 48 hours before the appointment when appropriate. A patch test reduces uncertainty but cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.

Clients should disclose known allergies, sensitivities, prior reactions, scalp conditions, or other relevant concerns before service.

​The Soft Bond Strands® attachment material itself does not use metal beads.

Clients with a medical procedure, imaging appointment, implant concern, allergy, or other health-related question should confirm requirements directly with the relevant licensed medical provider. WEST COAST HAIR does not provide medical clearance or medical advice.

​Allow the attachments to cure for at least 24 hours before washing unless Tiffany gives you different instructions for your installation.

During the curing period, avoid soaking the attachment area or applying products directly to the bonds.

​Many clients do well washing one to three times per week. Your ideal schedule depends on your scalp, lifestyle, activity level, product use, and hair texture.

Thorough cleansing and thorough rinsing are more important than simply washing more often. Product residue around the attachments can contribute to itching, softness, buildup, tangling, or compromised wear.

​Use the products recommended for your particular installation.

Incompatible ingredients, heavy buildup, excessive oils, some silicones, harsh cleansers, or products not rinsed thoroughly may affect the attachment material or extension hair.

WEST COAST HAIR may recommend Just Clean Hair™ and related silicone-free products created for natural hair and Soft Bond Strands® wear. Product recommendations are based on compatibility and are not medical or hair-growth claims.

​Brush gently and consistently, beginning at the ends and working upward.

Support the attachment area with one hand to reduce unnecessary stress on the natural hair. Separate the hair into manageable sections and remove naturally shed hair before it tangles with neighboring strands.

Follow the brush and technique recommendations provided during your appointment.

​Yes, human extension hair may generally be heat styled.

Do not place hot tools directly on the attachments. Excessive direct heat can soften, weaken, distort, or remove them.

Use controlled heat, protect the hair appropriately, and follow the styling instructions provided for your installation.

Normal activity is generally possible, including exercise and occasional swimming.

Long periods of soaking, repeated heavy sweating, salt water, chlorine, friction, and leaving the attachment area wet for extended periods may affect the hair or attachments.

Secure the hair appropriately, rinse after swimming, dry the attachment area thoroughly, and follow the care instructions provided.

The attachments should not simply fall out because the weather is hot. However, extreme heat may temporarily soften the material.

Avoid pulling, aggressively brushing, reshaping, or handling warm attachments. Allow them to cool before manipulating the hair.

Many installations may be worn for several months when the natural hair, installation, home care, and maintenance remain suitable. Some clients prefer removal or replacement sooner.

Natural hair growth, shedding, product use, moisture, friction, missed maintenance, hair condition, and lifestyle all affect wear time. Tiffany will recommend removal or reinstallation based on the condition of the hair and attachments rather than a fixed promise.

In most cases, yes. Extension hair may be reusable when it remains in good condition and is appropriate for the next installation.

Reuse is determined after removal and evaluation. WEST COAST HAIR cannot guarantee in advance that all hair will be suitable for reuse.

​Soft Bond Strands® removal does not rely on the same solvents or metal tools associated with many conventional extension systems.

Removal should still be performed or directed by WEST COAST HAIR. Do not force, pull, cut, melt, or break attachments out of your own hair without specific instruction. Improper removal may cause unnecessary tangling, breakage, or stress to the natural hair.

​Root touch-ups or limited color services may sometimes be performed around an installation by an experienced color professional.

Tell your colorist that you are wearing Soft Bond Strands® and provide any instructions supplied by WEST COAST HAIR. Avoid excessive heat, rough sink handling, heavy product saturation, or leaving the extensions wet and tangled.

Major color changes are usually best planned between removal and reinstallation.

​Extension hair is preprocessed and may react differently from natural hair. Coloring, bleaching, toning, or chemically altering it may produce unpredictable results and can shorten its useful life.

WEST COAST HAIR does not guarantee extension hair that has been altered by the client or another provider.

After professional removal, the hair can be evaluated, cleansed, dried, and assessed for a new installation. Whether immediate reinstallation is appropriate depends on the condition of the natural hair and scalp.

​Tiffany may recommend a delay, modified installation, or no reinstallation when the hair would benefit from another plan.

​Contact WEST COAST HAIR promptly. Do not wait until the next routine maintenance appointment when you notice pain, worsening irritation, unusual tension, matting, tangling, rapid shedding, slippage, or another concern.

​New-install clients may schedule a complimentary check appointment during the first four weeks. This appointment is for evaluation and reasonable minor adjustment when appropriate. It does not automatically include free replacement hair, a complete reinstall, or correction of problems caused by outside services, incompatible products, self-removal, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.

​No. WEST COAST HAIR specializes in its proprietary hair-extension service and related maintenance, removal, and product support.

Clients continue using their chosen licensed professional for cutting, coloring, bleaching, foiling, and other traditional salon services.

​Yes. WEST COAST HAIR may offer Just Clean Hair™ and other compatible hair-care or extension-care products for local pickup.

Shipping may also be available when postage is paid. Products purchased through a separate Soft Bond Strands® or TWIST Hair Care website are governed by the policies shown on that website.

​Available payment methods may include cash and approved electronic-payment options. Payment options can vary by service, appointment type, and client status.

​You will receive the applicable payment and deposit instructions when your appointment is reviewed or confirmed.

​A deposit may be required for certain services, appointments, special-order hair, or new clients.

The deposit is applied toward the confirmed service total. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are nonrefundable and are not automatically transferable.

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit. Genuine emergencies may be considered individually, but an exception is not guaranteed.

WEST COAST HAIR wants concerns reported promptly so they can be evaluated. Corrective work, replacement, or another accommodation is offered only after review and at WEST COAST HAIR’s discretion.
