For most obvious reasons, working out is a good thing. It keeps your body strong, your heart healthy and helps you to love longer. (Well, that is supposed to be live but I couldn't change it because if you live longer, you can love longer, too.)

And I know you're doing this for all the smart reasons for your body, your mind, your health…

5 Tips To Keep Your Hair Extensions Looking Great Post Workout And At The Gym

  • Brush and detangle extension hair: Before your workout, be sure your extensions are tangle free.
  • Tie it up, or braid your ends: During your workout, it is great to get your hair away from your face and safe from getting caught in and around equipment while you work-out. Be sure you take this hair down from a bun or ponytail once it gets sweaty & wet.
  • Cool-dry your roots: Wet hair at the attachment and scalp should be dried loose. A cool setting on a hair dryer and a quick zap at the scalp will help your hair feel clean.
  • ​Powder your roots: A light powder or dry shampoo will work wonders to freshen up your hair and hair extensions once you are finished with your work-out at home or the gym.
